A Canadian study reveals that the best gymnastics for weight loss is the one you do under the sheets.
Does the gym bore you and jogging is challenging? If you want to lose weight in a pleasant way, just make love often: according to a study conducted at the University of Quebec, Canada, sex can be considered a physical activity in all respects.
And that’s not all. The researchers who conducted the research also argue that rolling under the sheets with your partner gives benefits similar to those you get with moderate-intensity training.
Making love sends away the extra pounds
To reach these conclusions, Canadian experts conducted an experiment calculating the consumption of calories and energy in the two different activities, the traditional physical and the sexual.
21 couples in their twenties participated in the study and the research is published in the journal PlosOne.
It was found that on average, in bed, you consume 101 calories in just 24 minutes of intercourse.
