Chronic fatigue syndrome is a real disease, but fortunately it is very rare. In most cases these are temporary phenomena and easily solved.
Who has never felt tired already in the morning, struggle to get out of bed and then start the day in a bad mood and face everyday commitments with the feeling of not having the necessary energy?
It often happens that stress or overwork, but also the climatic changes typical of autumn and spring or the sultry heat of the summer season put our body to the test.
In these cases the result is extreme psychophysical fatigue even after an adequate night’s rest. Energies drop, attention and concentration are lost, memory lapses and mood swings are absent. Sometimes also reduced appetite and alterations in the sleep-wake rhythm.
If this condition has lasted for months, it is associated with other non-specific disorders, such as headache, musculoskeletal pain, general malaise, it is advisable to consult your doctor to rule out diseases that could be the basis of this symptom.
Including Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, characterized by prolonged and debilitating fatigue that by definition lasts for at least six months, and which must be carefully monitored by the specialist.
Passing fatigue, here’s what to do
Fortunately, in the vast majority of cases the state of psychophysical exhaustion is temporary and is often accompanied by a lack of minerals such as magnesium and potassium and B vitamins, essential for the proper functioning of the muscular and nervous systems.
Regaining energy and recovering all our efficiency then is much easier: just follow a few simple rules and supply our body with everything it needs.
First of all, of course, it is necessary to give ourselves a good night’s rest, trying to sleep at least seven or eight hours a night.
Then, maximum attention must also be paid to nutrition. To fill up on vitamins and minerals we put on the table fresh fruit and vegetables in quantity, and consume light and varied meals, favoring whole grains and legumes, yogurt, fish and eggs.
But if drowsiness still accompanies us during the day and our mind struggles to follow normal rhythms, we can help ourselves with specially formulated supplements, which contain the right mix of minerals associated with B vitamins and vitamin C.
